The Dartmouth native had two huge games for the Milwaukee Bucks, as they closed out the season with the NBA’s best record.
Wigginton’s started the weekend with a historic Friday night. He totaled 25 points, five rebounds, and 11 assists despite losing to the Memphis Grizzlies.
He became the first player to score 25 or more points and hand out 10 or more assists in their first career start since Isiah Thomas did it for the Detroit Pistons, back in 1981.
The second-year guard then travelled to Toronto to take on the raptors in front of his friends and family on Sunday afternoon. Toronto came away with the win, but Wigginton scored a team-high 17 points, making over half of his shots in the game.
Wigginton will now set his sights on helping Milwaukee chase it’s second championship in three years, as the NBA playoffs begin next weekend. Th Bucks will face whoever manages to make it out of the NBA’s play-in tournament and will play their first game on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. AST.
