Environment Canada says parts of Nova Scotia could see up to 30 millimeters of rain on Wednesday as a storm system makes its way towards the province.
They currently project that parts of Southwestern Nova Scotia will start seeing rainfall early Wednesday morning with it picking up in intensity throughout the day.
The storm is expected to be at its strongest around noon when Environment Canada says we will likely see torrential rain and heavy winds. They currently estimate wind speeds will reach up to 80 kilometers an hour.
Rainfall warnings have been issued in five counties including; Digby, Lunenburg, Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Queens.
The storm is expected to bring rain for the entire province though it looks like the South Western portion of the province will feel its impact the most.
