The Bridgewater Police Service says the death of a 58 year-old woman last November is not suspicious.
Sgt. Matthew Bennett says a report from the Nova Scotia’s Medical Examiner has concluded Catherine Burgoyne died of an accidental drowning.
Her body was found in a brook on King Street on November 2, 2015.
She was reported missing earlier that day.
Bennett says they received test results in late September.
“So once we received those tests we reviewed the findings and then concluded the file.”
Burgoyne’s family has been notified of the report.
No charges will be laid.
