Open For Business: South Shore – Find out what businesses are open near you!
It was 2 months ago today that Nova Scotia called a State of Emergency, and while we’re still living under it, businesses along the South Shore continue to find ways to safely re-open.
Here are some of the businesses announcements I’ve come across online over the past couple of days:
SHAID TREE ANIMAL SHELTER: Adoptions have resumed, although the process will look different.
WINNERS: Re-opening on Wednesday, May 27th. Hours will be Mon-Sat 11-7 and Sun 12-5
MARKS BRIDGEWATER: Re-opening as of today (May 22nd). Hours will be Mon-Sat 10-7 and Sun 12-5
SPORT CHEK BRIDGEWATER: Re-opening as of today (May 22nd). Hours will be Mon-Sat 10-7 and Sun 11-6
CHARM DIAMOND CENTRES: Re-opening in South Shore Centre on Saturday (May 23) with the hours of Mon-Sat 10-6
SOUTH SHORE CENTRE: Hours of operation effective May 23rd will be Mon-Sat 11-7 and Sun 12-5. Not all stores are open and safety precautions are in place. Follow their facebook page for more info on their store re-openings.
BOSTON PIZZA BRIDGEWATER: Now open daily for curb side pickup from 4-8pm.
MOM’S BUY & SELL LUNENBURG: Open this week Thurs/Fri/Sat 11-4
These are just a few of the many stores/businesses that have re-opened. Many more are extending their hours, and all of them are finding ways to keep us safe if we choose to shop.

While shopping, continue to exercise social distancing and it’s recommended that you wear a mask in areas where you aren’t able to maintain a 6ft distnace.

Some stores are opening up in Halifax too, and if you’re planning to make a trip to Costco, make sure you have a Mask handy.
