Andrew took part in his very first Swim Nova Scotia Spring Championships this year.
In January Andrew was ready to give up swimming. He agreed to finish out the year and then he could decide. He put everything he had into his swimming and started loving it again.
His hard work and determination paid off at the Spring Championships in Antigonish.
Andrew qualified to swim the finals in ALL 6 EVENTS he was swimming.
He won 1st place in THREE events. He also won 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the remaining three events.
He ended up being 2nd overall out of 23 competitors.
Way to go Andrew! As Athlete of the Week, he won $50 to Cleve’s Source for Sports in Bridgewater!
