The Bridgewater Skate Park is one step closer to becoming a reality.
Around $15,000 worth of preliminary work has been done on site of the long awaited park near the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre.
Committee member Eric Hustvedt says it’s an important first step.
“Very preliminary site clearing has gone on against the very real possibility that fundraising will succeed and we’ll go forward with construction in the middle of 2017.”
Hustvedt says local youth have been involved in creating a new crowd-funding campaign.
They hope to launch that in the next few weeks.
