A hardware store in Bridgewater is expanding.
Construction is underway at Bucks Home Building Centre on MacCulloch Road.
An additional 12,000 square feet will be added to the warehouse and show room.
Owner Brian Buck says sales have continued to grow and they need to expand.
“We need more retail space to better display product for customers and the majority of the expansion is for warehouse space, which we have utilized all our space we have right now to store product.”
Buck says the change will create better and quicker service for customers.
He says they currently have 43 employees and expects to hire more once the expansion is complete next spring.
Buck is pleased to be able to expand and offer more to residents of Lunenburg County.
