The new Guild Hall in Shelburne is 90 per cent complete, according to the CAO of the town.
The former hall was demolished last March.
The new hall will feature a large stage, be more accessible to users and provide more space than the previous structure.
Dylan Heide says preparations have begun for a grand opening.
“We’re looking forward to the 2017 season and that will begin with a grand opening, which is scheduled for the weekend of May 26-28.”
The previous hall was built in 1994 for the film, The Scarlet Letter.
Heide says they’re looking for musicians or activities to present during the grand opening weekend.
