Nova Scotia Power says persistent blizzard conditions are making it difficult for crews to reach many areas.
As of 12:30 p.m, there are more than three dozen outages from Lunenburg county to Shelburne county.

NSP spokesperson Sasha Irving says the conditions are much the same across the province.
“Especially in the western part, crews are dealing with very poor driving conditions, heavy snow and high winds.”
The utility says it has more than 380 people across the province including NSP line crews, contractor line crews, forestry crews and
damage assessment teams.
Irving says safety comes first.
She says it also makes it difficult to determine an accurate time of restoration in outage areas.
“You’ll see our estimates right now are for tomorrow (Tuesday) evening.”
The high winds prevent linesmen from going up in the buckets.
