RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is asking for the public’s help locating Scott Leslie Allan Best, who is wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant.
Best, 48, from Westphal, is facing multiple charges including assault, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats. Police believe he may be in the Halifax area.
He is described as being 5-foot-10 with a slim build, short dark brown hair, and possibly dark or greying facial hair.
RCMP say they have made several attempts to locate him and are now turning to the public for assistance.
Anyone with information on Scott Best’s whereabouts is asked to call Halifax RCMP at 1-800-803-7267 or contact local police. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477, using the P3 Tips app, or online at crimestoppers.ns.ca.
