The province is funding Ignite Atlantic.
During an event in Yarmouth, Growth and Development minister Colton LeBlanc said they’re giving $1.6 million over three years.
Ignite is a rural start-up space for for entrepreneurs to grow their business.
LeBlanc says places like Ignite are important, and they want to make sure they’re supporting talented businesses in rural areas.
The funding will be used toward mentorship, accelerator and pilot projects.
