A 26-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after another case of what police describe as intimate partner violence in Nova Scotia.
Truro police say it happened on Ford Street, Friday night.
A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed outside a home.
The suspect was arrested on scene.
She is also charged with violating a court order banning her from having contact with the victim, from a previous case
Further charges are also possible.
She will appear in court at a later date.
The Truro Police Service Criminal Investigation Division and the Truro Police Service Forensic Identification Section have taken the lead on the investigation.
Six women, and one woman’s father, have been killed by men since October. Each woman was killed by a man with whom she had a relationship.
