The U.S. Postal Service has temporarily suspended accepting mail coming to this country due the Canadian Union of Postal Workers Strike.
In a November 29th release, the service asks customers to refrain from mailing anything addressed to Canada until further notice.
The U.S.P.S. says international items received as of November 15th are being held in secure containers and have not been processed.
When service does resume, mail and packages will be delivered as quickly as possible, but customers should expect delays as Canada Post processes the backlog.
