RCMP have charged a doctor with sexual assault after an alleged incident at a Nova Scotia hospital emergency room.
Police say they received a report in May that an assault had occurred in January during an assessment at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan.
Officers arrested a man on August 14th. He was released on conditions and is to appear in court in Amherst in November.
Investigators believe there may be more victims in this province or other places where he’s practiced.
The accused was also previously employed in Quebec and was in New Brunswick before his arrest.
Victims can contact police and discuss an incident before deciding to further participate in the investigation and court process.
