Police are still looking for the body of Esther Jones.
She was killed last August in Greenwood.
RCMP say as of 4 p.m., they were on Bridge Street in Kingston following up on a tip, but have since cleared the scene.
Police will remain in the area over the next few days.
A man from the Annapolis Valley was charged with First Degree Murder after being deported back to Canada from the United States, he remains in custody.
The Southwest Nova Major Crime Unit continues to investigate and say her remains have not been located.
To date, more than 100 people have been interviewed with surveillance from 50 businesses and homes.
