The Moncton Wildcats lost their first game at the Memorial Cup.
The QMJHL champs fell 3-2 in overtime to the OHL’s London Knights Saturday night in Rimouski.
Sam O’Reilly scored the winner for the Ontario champs just over four minutes into overtime.
Etienne Morin and Dyllan Gill had the Wildcats goals, and Mathis Rousseau stopped 45 shots in the loss.
The Wildcats next face the WHL’s Medicine Hat Tigers on Monday night.
