Another clinic in Halifax is about to close with two more doctors retiring.
They are at the Spryfield Family Medicine Clinic and will walk away in April, leaving more than 4,000 patients without a family physician.
MLA Bredan McGuire, says the clinic has requested additional resources to deal with the retirement. McGuire says he’s working with the Spryfield Family Medicine Clinic, the Nova Scotia Health Authority, and the Department of Health on finding these resources.
This announcement comes on the heels of the Southend Family Practice shutting it’s doors in August.

There are currently over 137,000 people on the doctor waitlist in Nova Scotia
