The Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre will host its first full-scale concert since the initial outbreak of COVID-19 over two years ago on Friday night.
Juno award-winning artist Kim Mitchell who is best known for hits like Patio Lanterns and Get a Soda is set to lead the LCLC’s return back into hosting concerts.
“Ticket sales are going alright and are similar to what we’ve been seeing with other event spaces around the province,” said LCLC General Manager Kent Walsh. “It likely won’t be a full house but this is really a community service piece and our focus is to put on fun experiences that can be enjoyed by residents of the South Shore close to home,”.
There will be no restrictions at the concert, with the province dropping all COVID-19 protocols earlier this summer.
Tickets can still be purchased online or at the box office. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the concert beginning at 8:00 p.m..
