Our Athlete of the Week is 13-year-old Johnny Drake of Blockhouse
Sports Organization: South Shore Minor Hockey (u15B Lumberjacks)
Johnny moved to the South Shore last August and has quickly garnered the respect of his team mates and demonstrated his sheer love for the game of hockey!
Originally he planned to play as a forward but when the team had too many skaters he quickly offered to play goal and helped the team develop into a silver medal position for the year!
He plays forward for his junior high team (Bayview Community School)!
If he could, he would be on the ice every day and/or several times a day!
As Athlete of the Week, Johnny won $50 to Cleve’s Source for Sports in Bridgewater
