Sleep experts claim we shouldn’t let our pets sleep in our beds at night – we get a much less restful sleep.
They are right.
We used to have 3 cats and a dog in the bed at night, but now we’re down to just two cats.
Sadly our doggo passed away last year.
Meanwhile only 2 cats can put up with each other so they sleep at the foot of the bed.
There is a silver lining, though. One of the cats, Mary has an internal clock that makes her try to wake me up just before my alarm goes off. She is relentless.
But she’s saved my butt a few times when I forgot to set the alarm or there had been a power outage.
Now if I could just get her to understand time changes and the difference between Daylight Saving Time and Standard Time…
Do any of your pets get to spend the night in your bed?
