The RCMP have released the numbers for Operation Impact.
The operation took place last weekend, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Police say they intercepted seven drivers for alcohol-related offences from October eighth to 11th.
Halifax District RCMP and the RCMP Southeast Traffic Services increased their traffic enforcement in Halifax, with 27 checkpoints and over 300 traffic stops.
This led to the seven intercepts, as well as 40 summary offence tickets being issued, including one for stunting.
The RCMP say the operation focused on education and enforcement on four significant causes of collisions: impaired driving, distracted driving, aggressive driving and not wearing a seatbelt or wearing one incorrectly.
