With just six days to go, the three main party leaders are continuing to pound the pavement.
It’s a big day on the campaign trail for NDP Leader Gary Burrill who is set to make a policy announcement at Horseshoe Island Park on Quinpool Road in Halifax.
He’ll be joined by federal party leader Jagmeet Singh. They’ll then hit the streets in the Halifax area for some campaigning.
Tory Leader Tim Houston is holding a media availability on Wednesday morning in Eastern Passage, before heading out to campaign in Guysborough-Tracadie and Antigonish.
Liberal Leader Iain Rankin is touring Cape Breton and Central Nova Scotia. He has two announcements planned, which will address support for firefighters and healthcare improvements.
Meantime, the Liberals slammed the PC economic plan on Tuesday.
Finance Minister Labi Kousoulis calls it “vague” and wants to see greater transparency.
He says it offers tax breaks to big corporations, while taxing small businesses through what he calls an “ill-designed loyalty points program.”
