Two people are dead after a Digby county boating accident.
RCMP say they were called to an over-turned aluminum boat on Second Lake near Sissiboo Grand Lake.
Police, EHS, fire and Ground Search and Rescue attended the remote area.
They say three men were fishing in a 12-foot-aluminum boat and experienced motor problems.
While attempting to fix the problem, the boat over-turned and the three occupants ended up in the water.
One man swam to shore and walked to an area to obtain cell service to report the incident.
Around 10 a.m. fire rescuers located a 56-year-old man and a 49-year-old man in the water.
Both were unresponsive, wearing life-vests and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The men were from from Digby county and the investigation is ongoing including cause of death.
