A new case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Bridgewater.
In a release, NSCC Lunenburg Campus principal Craig Collins says they were informed this morning of a positive case at the campus.
Collins says the individual hasn’t been on campus since November 19th, and has been in contact with public health for further direction.
It was not made clear if the individual was a student or part of the faculty, and did not mention if or for how long they had been self-isolating.
The release notes a deep clean of the campus is underway, and the individual has been instructed to not return to campus until cleared by public health.
It also says any close contacts will be reached out to by public health.
