My kids are grown so I won’t have their Halloween loot to pick through this year, but I’ve been looking at the big boxes of “snack size” chocolate bars on sale at the stores and while the variety is limited, (I’ve never seen my favourite SKOR bars in those) there are still a lot of favourites to choose from.
One box features Smarties, Kit Kat, Coffee Crisp and Aero. For me, it’s Coffee Crisp for the win although I wouldn’t be sad to get all the Kit Kats.
Another has Mars, Twix, Snickers and M & M’s. Hard pass.
Then there is Reese’s Pieces, Oh Henry, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Hershey. The cups could be a contender.
The Cadbury box includes Crispy Crunch and Caramilk along with a couple of losers.
To make sure we get a winner, poke around the cupboards and find that hidden box your partner put in there for Halloween, rip it open, and taste test each of those bars to find the best one.
You might have to take a second taste test just to be sure.
When you’re done taste testing (and this can take some time) let me know your favourite! If your partner complains just tell them Mike is doing a scientific study and needs your opinion.
