Its going to be a hot week for most of Nova Scotia.
There is a heat warning in effect for the province this week reaching into Wednesday, with temperatures reaching up to 32 degrees, or 36 with the humidex during the day.
Not much relief will come during the night unfortunately as Environment Canada shows lows are expected to be between 16 and 20.
Today and Tuesday are set to be the hottest days along the South Shore, with highs peaking between 29 and 31. However it will be a little cooler along parts of the coast.
Environment Canada says extreme heat affects everyone, and cautions people to watch for signs of heat related illness, such as swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and the worsening of some health conditions.
They also reminds everyone to not leave pets or people in hot cars.
