Bridgewater Town Hall began the next stage of reopening to the public, yesterday.
Safety protocol such as physical distancing, hand sanitizer, and directional arrows to direct visitors have been in place for some time, but there are some important changes to note.
Office hours have reverted to the summertime hours of 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday, but it is recommended that you still call ahead to make in-person appointments.
People who have booked an appointment will be required to complete a screening form before the meeting.
Communications Manager Pat Hirtle says people have been very patient and understanding in regards to following safety protocols.
“Everything from maintaining that social distance and using hand sanitizer on site, to being really receptive and responsive to what they are being asked to do,” he said.
Limited public access to Town Hall beyond the Finance/lobby area will now be permitted. Drop-in meetings are discouraged and meeting space may not be available to accommodate the required physical distancing, so please call ahead. The preferred method of meeting remains phone/video calls.
Those who are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms are asked to stay home or call 902-543-4651 to conduct business over the phone.
