On a snowed in afternoon, I was whiling away some time on Facebook and came across a post called “Never Have I Ever” and the first item on the list of 20 things was “Got A Tattoo” and I realized that I’ve never had a tattoo, nor ever thought about getting one.
But after thinking it over I think I’d like to get one. Nothing big, nothing too ostentatious and not necessarily visible while wearing normal work clothes. Then I thought about what I’d like to have as a tattoo and my mind went blank. I couldn’t think of a single thing that would symbolize something important to me. (I’m assuming that is part of why people choose certain tattoos – the tat means something to them?)
I thought about one of my pets, but getting just one wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the animals. I buy a lot of online videogames and thought about the Steam logo, but I kind of have a love/hate relationship with that megacorporation. Then I considered AMD the computer chip and graphic card maker, but I realized I’m not that loyal and would switch to their larger competition Nvidia in a moment. I don’t have a favourite flower or plant although I do love trees but couldn’t pick just one. I’m really looking for some ideas from those of you who have tattoos.
