It finally happened. Someone got a picture of the animal that doesn’t exist. It has always seemed to be one of those “pictures or it didn’t happen” type of situations, but someone finally got a picture.
This is not the actual picture, because I have not been able to track down the person and get their permission to use it, but I did see it online. It is a picture of a large cat with a tail.
I know a lot of people, including myself, who have seen this animal. Maybe not this particular one, but one very similar. It is not a bobcat. It is not a lynx. It has a tail. A very noticeable long tail. It is also larger. We have simply been told that it must be a bobcat or a lynx, because mountain lions or cougars do not exist in this area.
The problem is, someone must have forgot to tell them because people keep seeing them.
