Parts of Bridgewater’s Business Park and Centennial Trail will be swarming with runners and walkers tomorrow.
The 3rd annual Michelin Bridgewater Tire Trot gets underway at 9 a.m.
The five kilometre race starts at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre and follows an out-and-back course along the trail.
There is also a one kilometre kids’ run.
Health and Safety Week Coordinator, Matt Roberts, says they have 750 people registered.
“To see that many people come out, not only from the South Shore but from all over Nova Scotia to have a good time, be active and healthy and take part is pretty amazing to me.”
Roberts says the fun run is a way for people to get outdoors, be active and engaged in their community.
The races will be held rain or shine.
