Two long-standing Bridgewater business are joining together in a new location.
Gow’s Home Hardware and Gow’s Furniture stores will soon be located under one roof in a new building being built across from the NSCC on High Street.
Dealer/Owner of Home Hardware Amanda Fancy and Julie Gow from Gow’s Home Furniture were on-site Wednesday for the ground breaking.
Fancy says she’s looking forward bringing the best of both businesses to Bridgewater.
“We’re both known as Gow’s and for our customer service in the community. We feel by having two under one roof we’re definitely going to be able to increase our reach.”
Fancy says combining the two stores will mean finding some efficiencies, but that’s not the driving force behind the move.
“Our main focus is to continue the next chapter of the Gow’s legacy. But at the same time, be able to continue to provide superior customer service for our customers.”
Fancy expects construction will continue throughout the year as they work towards a grand opening in the spring of 2019.
