Thirty production and management positions have been cut from Stelia Aerospace in Lunenburg.
The company announced the job losses are due to less demand on some programs and pushing out projects that were planned to be in ramp-up mode by now.
A statement from Stelia North America says they are working to get new business to compensate and grow the business again.
Managing Director, Claude Baril, says the company is operating in a competitive world and facing pressure from customers to reduce prices.
Workers who were impacted by the cuts are being provided severance packages and voluntary career transition services to find alternative employment.
