A Bridgewater business will soon be shutting its doors for the last time.
Mainline Market is closing after 44 years.
Richard Hull is the third generation to run the popular King street grocery.
He says like any business it’s had ups and downs but ultimately was beat by the big box stores.
“Well, it was a staple in the town for awhile but then just the big stores, you can’t compete with them when you buy from them. It all comes out of the same warehouse.”
He says he feels particularly bad for his regular customers who’ve been loyal for many years.
Mainline Market will be closing for good next week.
