A Yarmouth teenager wins big at the provincial volunteer awards.
17-year old Barbara Webster picked up the award for her work with community, provincial and national charities such as The Children’s Wish Foundation and Me To We.
Webster has clocked more volunteer hours than most people twice her age.
“It definitely gives you more perspective on different lives and the way people live in the different types of people who live in the community,” said Webster.
The youth was one of 15 South Shore volunteers to recieve volunteer awards from the province.
