A Nova Scotia bike club is keeping motorcycle safety at the top of everyone’s mind.
Jim and Marion MacQuarrie of Pleasant River belong to the Brotherhood of Bikers of Nova Scotia.
The group has created stickers asking people to “Look Twice and Save a Life” and watch for motorcycles.
The couple are both motorcycle riders and Marion says safety is important to them.
“If these even save one life throughout the whole province, it’s worth all the effort is takes to put them up.”
Safety Services Nova Scotia will help the club place more than 600 stickers at gas stations across the province.
There were five motorcycle deaths in Nova Scotia last year.
May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month in Nova Scotia.
