A Bridgewater area lawyer has received a prestigious designation. Robert David Chipman has been given the honourary title of Queen’s Counsel. It’s given out annually to members working in the justice system to recognize exceptional merit and outstanding contributions to the legal community. Recipients must have been a member of the bar for at least 15 years and have shown integrity and good character. Justice Minister Lena Diab unveiled the appointees. Chipman along with 13 other lawyers in Nova Scotia were recognized and give the QC designation.
