A new multi-million dollar Bridgewater Baptist Church is beginning to take shape! Its being constructed on Glen Allen Drive and church minister Dr. Brian MacArthur says this week is an important one for the project. He tells us: “The walls that have been constructed on the slab will be raised this week. I think here are 70 sections of the walls that will be raised and put in place.” Rev. MacArthur also says the new church will allow for more people and an expanded community outreach. “We’ve been limited in a whole variety of ways, not the least of which has been even our platform area for a variety of programs,” says Dr. MacArthur. Its expected the final bill for the project will be around 5-million dollars, all paid-for by parishioners over many years. The new facility will replace the old Bridgewater Baptist on King Street and will be capable of seating 500 people.
