An online recreation resource is hoping to be the South Shore’s guide for all things to do to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday.
South Shore Connect highlights sport, festivals and programming in the area.
Now, they’re gathering information about Canada 150 activities.
Active Living Coordinator with MODL, Britt Vegsund, says the website provides details about events from Blandford to Yarmouth.
“Go to southshoreconnect.ca and go into the database, click on the Canada 150 button and anything that has been registered so far as a Canada 150 event will be listed there.”
There are already more than 75 listings and Vegsund hopes that number will exceed 100.
She says the website is a direct route to family fun.
