A break and enter at a New Germany pharmacy has resulted in charges for a New Germany man.
Thirty-two-year-old Christopher Russell is facing multiple charges including break and enter, theft, and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.
RCMP say they received a call at around 7:30 a.m. on Monday reporting an overnight break and enter at a pharmacy on Highway 10.
An investigation revealed a large quantity of prescription drugs, including opiates, were taken from the pharmacy.
Several hours after the call, police identified a suspect and arrested him at a New Germany residence, where the drugs from the pharmacy were recovered by police.
Russell was scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court yesterday.
Police expect to lay additional charges and the investigation is ongoing.
