A Bridgewater woman is facing charges after a stabbing in the early hours of this morning.
Bridgewater Police Service responded to the call at around 1:35 a.m. in the King and Dufferin Street area of Bridgewater.
Police located a shirtless adult male on the street, who was covered in blood and suffering a stab wound to the left shoulder area.
EHS was called and took him to South Shore Regional Hospital and he has since been released.
BPS then located and arrested Jennifer Lynn Wentzell, 38, at a nearby residence.
She will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court this afternoon to face charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault with a weapon, and uttering death threats.
The suspect and victim were known to each other.
